Her mother was a registered nurse who worked in labor and delivery, and CNM Belanger grew up immersed in stories of birth, which inspired her to follow in her mother\u2019s footsteps. A home birth experience with a midwife further cemented her calling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In other words, she was literally born into this profession, which we consider to be an excellent origin story, fitting for a superhero or Greek myth.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was born at home in a tub, so all of these things, hearing stories of labor and delivery and growing up and having my birth story really pushed me towards women\u2019s health care and doing deliveries,\u201d reflected CNM Belanger. \u201cI guess that\u2019s where my passion came from,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it was her experience at school that really helped her find her calling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t know what my path would be exactly, and when I got into school, I realized my favorite part about working in health care was having one-on-one connections and providing a lot of emotional support,\u201d explained CNM Belanger. \u201cI did a Bachelor\u2019s in Science and Psychology, so I think that moved my meter towards midwifery because that is a large part of what makes midwives different \u2013 focus on the whole woman and creating a genuine connection. It\u2019s really fulfilling work for me,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CNM Belanger also revealed that working in this role has helped her relationship with her mother and helped her discover her purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really forged something special between my mother and I, which has been incredible,\u201d CNM Belanger said, emphasizing the special bond she shares with her patients and, in a way, with her mother’s legacy. “I feel like it’s always been the right fit, and it feels like I’ve finally found the place where I can make a difference. It can be hard to find where you really make a difference because it\u2019s unique for everybody. Everyone has the chance to have an impact on the world, and it\u2019s a privilege to be able to do that every day at TrueCare,” she said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, the centralized campus is great for us and makes things more convenient on the provider side, but it\u2019s all about the patients at the end of the day,\u201d explained CNM Belanger. \u201cIf I have a patient that needs extra help, whether it\u2019s a visit to Quick Care or our pharmacy, everything is accessible \u2013 the campus is a true testament to holistic care,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This central location offers a wide array of services under one roof, including Quick Care, Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Chiropractic care, Acupuncture, and an on-site Pharmacy. This seamless integration significantly elevates provider care and efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the Women’s Health Center, the team dynamic is particularly strong. Obstetrics and Gynecology coordinators help process and place referrals for ultrasounds, other outside services, imaging, or testing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our prenatal care coordinators help women understand the process of prenatal care, what to expect going forward, and provide education through each part of the trimesters, as well as what to expect afterwards. This centralized campus also benefits the TrueCare team.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There’s always somebody looking out for you and someone you can reach out to, and that includes the providers,” CNM Belanger emphasized. \u201cIf you\u2019re ever having issues, there are always resources and other providers you can talk to \u2013 it provides a really supportive environment, especially for new graduates, providers who are new to the system, or really anyone who might come on board working <\/span>women\u2019s health center jobs<\/span>,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI wanna give a shoutout to our former manager of the clinic\u201d beamed CNM Belanger. \u201cShe is now overseeing Women\u2019s Health and Pediatrics, and she has unified both of those departments \u2013 but she\u2019s also helped me grow a lot individually as a leader and provider as a sounding board in helping develop projects. When I feel like I\u2019m not sure where to go or what to do, she\u2019s always there. That\u2019s the kind of support TrueCare offers its team across the board, and it makes a huge difference,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If there is concern about that at the moment, it doesn’t matter.
