After some time, Moises\u2019 journey would lead him from being Lead Dental Assistant to Dental Assistant Supervisor to Dental Manager to eventually Health Center Manager II. He believes this is a powerful example of how TrueCare supports career advancement.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTrueCare allowed me to embrace their community goals and focus on the needs of people. \u201cWhat I really enjoy about my role as a health center manager is that I can build on what I started with in dental and really try to help patients,\u201d he explained. \u201cOur oral health is just as important as our physical health, and there are other conditions that can be exacerbated from either side. So what I enjoy most is being able to provide that care and foster that cross-collaboration. I also really enjoy the fact that we provide so many different services, from dental to medical to behavioral health and chiropractic services, and they all work in harmony. It enables us to provide a higher level of care to the community,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, he says the team itself is also a bright spot of working at TrueCare. Moises describes his team as more than just colleagues; they\u2019re a family.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve created a fun, welcoming environment in Ramona, and a lot of our team members grew up here in Ramona,\u201d Moises said. \u201cIt\u2019s not just about getting the job done. It\u2019s about supporting each other and creating a positive atmosphere that makes patients feel comfortable and cared for \u2013 from the very first day of onboarding, we make sure everyone feels welcomed and that everybody gets along,\u201d he elaborated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This strong team culture fosters both personal and professional satisfaction for the staff, who all work towards the same community-centered goals. Ultimately, though, Moises has embraced his role as the facilitator for this teamwork.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have different metrics and measures that we\u2019re trying to accomplish in our community, and my role as a health center manager is to work with my team to better our community\u2019s health,\u201d Moises explained. \u201cBeing able to provide and foster that with my team is really fulfilling for me, and I think it makes it more fulfilling for everyone else, too,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was fortunate enough to have health insurance, but I know that\u2019s not always the case for people. So just having this perspective and a passion for combining community health with population health is really important for candidates \u2013 we\u2019re very mission-driven,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n
