Hoy en d\u00eda, se enorgullece de desempe\u00f1arse como Director M\u00e9dico Asociado en TrueCare.  <\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Ota\u00f1ez naci\u00f3 y creci\u00f3 en Tijuana por su abuela materna y sus t\u00edas. Sus padres fallecieron cuando \u00e9l era joven. Sus enfermedades lo motivaron a seguir una carrera como m\u00e9dico. Despu\u00e9s de trabajar en tres trabajos para estudiar medicina, se convirti\u00f3 en pediatra en 2010. Poco despu\u00e9s, fue aceptado en el programa de UCLA para graduados m\u00e9dicos internacionales biling\u00fces para poder ejercer la medicina familiar en California. Despu\u00e9s de 12 a\u00f1os de poner su mirada en una residencia en UCSD, su objetivo se logr\u00f3. Hoy en d\u00eda, desempe\u00f1a dos funciones en TrueCare: como m\u00e9dico y administrador. Cuando se le pregunta qu\u00e9 lo motiva, dice: \u00abMe gusta ayudar a la gente. Me encanta lo que hago.
