Mimi believes all women and their families deserve support as they grow and make important health decisions. That\u2019s why she began her career with a master\u2019s in midwifery. In addition to caring for patients, Mimi spearheaded TrueCare&#8217;s support for female patients with gestational diabetes and Type 2 diabetes, a health issue that disproportionately impacts Black, Hispanic, American Indian, and Asian American women. <\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Mimi transitioned over to her current role, coordinating TrueCare\u2019s wellness and DEI efforts, in response to the pandemic and social unrest. She set out to help all team members establish a true sense of belonging at work.
