My passion to become a therapist began nearly 10 years ago. My first days as a health care professional began when I treated at-risk youth with an array of emotional challenges. Since then my primary focus has been working with children, adolescents, and families. As a clinical therapist, I am passionate about instilling hope, breaking stigmas, and empowering patients in discovering healthy lives. In the journey of personal healing, I believe it is essential to demonstrate compassion, which promotes growth, self love, and acceptance. It is my professional philosophy that the patient is the primary expert in their lives, I merely serve as an instrument to support them along their journey. My approach to therapy is based on collaborative work between the family and the provider, focusing on each patient’s unique strengths and needs. I decided to continue my journey at TrueCare because I believe in their core mission, which is to provide quality health care to all members of the community. I am a true believer that we can not change the past, but each day presents a new opportunity to change the future. <\/p>\n
I am proud of my heritage, my mother is from Mexico, and my father is Guatemalan. I enjoy hiking, meditating at the beach, dancing, traveling, and exploring new cultures.
